2008 FEDERAL PCB REGULATION
The New Federal PCB Regulation, published by Environment Canada, has set specific deadlines for ending the use and storage of PCBs in Canada. Introduced in September of 2008, the new regulation consolidates, revokes, and replaces the:
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Labelling and reporting requirements for all PCBs.
- Elimination of all existing PCB storage sites by the end of 2009.
- End-of-use deadline for PCB equipment and storage.
